Hardy Ball runs MetaCarbon Farm in Longmont. Practicing regenerative permaculture methods, he grows vegetables and uses rotational grazing to raise meat chickens and pigs, with more animals on the horizon. A fruit/berry orchard was planted in 2021 to expand the farm’s food system for the future. Hardy dropped the organic certification this year, without changing the farm’s practices. Last year in 2021, MetaCarbon Organic Farm served 24 families with weekly CSA boxes.

To integrate regenerative farming practices within the Front Range community by providing sustainably grown produce, education, events and farm work opportunities.
